Mother and Baby Services
Postnatal Group
Our Health Visitors and Nursery Nurse run a Postnatal Group. This is normally on a Wednesday afternoon from 1.45pm to 3.15pm.
Well Baby Clinic
The Well Baby Clinic, on Tuesdays between 9am to 11am, is primarily a 'drop in clinic' where you can meet the health visiting team and get your infant weighed.
It is not only an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns that you may have regarding your child's physical and emotional development; but you can also talk to us about how you are feeling.
It also offers you access to resources such as information displayed on our notice boards, a wide range of literature including public health initiatives, promoting breastfeeding and the importance of having your baby immunised and practical information such as where to go to get information on "Mothers and Toodler" groups.
You can also pick up leaflets on the following:
- the role of the health visiting service
- weening your child
- sleep
- behaviour management
and many more.
